Ford Ranger EV
The 1999 Ford Ranger EV pickup truck is based on the company's best-selling compact truck, the Ford Ranger. The Ranger EV is powered by lead acid batteries and initially targeted towards fleet customers. Introductory markets for the Ranger EV include California, the Southwest, the Southeast and the Northeast, although sales are not limited to these areas.   Check out the Ford Ranger EV drivers page at geocities.com.

Charging System: Conductive-Conductive charging transfers electricity through metal-to-metal contacts. Conductive couplers are being designed so that the user cannot see or touch the metal contacts.
